The ubiquitous Dr. Grove photo that has been seen in numerous places.

This group shot shows a piece of the original plant,
Phal. cornu-cervi fma. chattaladae 'Pravit Chattalada' JC/AOS (top);
the two plants below are the f1 seedlings Dr. Grove traded to me
from the cross of Phal. cornu-cervi fma. chattaladae 'Oun' x
Phal. cornu-cervi fma. chattaladae 'Pravit Chattalada' JC/AOS.
The plant on the lower right is bearing an f2 chattaladae capsule.

The new capsules at about 80 days development.
Grove's capsule is at about 160 days.

Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi fma. chattaladae 'Anduril'
The cultivar with the yellow tips seems to like to flower that way, so it is now called 'Anduril' (from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, Anduril, "The Flame of the West", is Aragorn's sword.)

Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi fma. chattaladae 'Memoria Keith Shaffer'
A photo from 7-27-07 of Phal. cornu-cervi f. chattaladae 'Memoria Keith Shaffer', showing 5 inflorescenses carrying 8 flowers, 6 buds, and one seed capsule.

Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi fma. chattaladae mother flasks
The mothers from Dr. Grove's first capsule, which was carried on the type of the forma, Phal. cornu-cervi f. chattaladae 'Chinainthorn'. These mothers are ready to make spreads from, so I am ahead of schedule. I expect to be booking orders for replates of this by mid Summer, and could be shipping flasks as early as this Fall, but more probably next Spring.

Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi fma. chattaladae spreads
Six spreads from one of the above mothers, done and photographed on 5/17/07. In a few weeks, I will be making replates.
